Rachel

Ross needed the companionship of one of the other kittens. At first,I'd really wanted to keep one of the calicos (you can see more of all five kittens in the "feral" pages of my family album, which cat be found in the "Petscapes" section), but after the discussion where I found out that calicos go first, I realized it would be best to keep the little tabby kitten.

She was just adorable. Very friendly and inquisitive. And she and her brother played together for hours.

Rachel's coloring is quite stunning. She's a tortoiseshell tabby, otherwise known as a "torbie". She's laid back and quiet. We don't think she'll be a very big cat, but then, her mother isn't very big, either.
